We are delighted to announce the Sixth annual Queensland ADHD Conference, to be held on Saturday 30th May 2026 at the fantastic Unidus Conference Centre in Willawong, Brisbane.

Following on from the 2024 Queensland ADHD Conference, this incredible event will be open to everyone and be a brilliant opportunity for parents, educators, family members, friends, other professionals, and adults who themselves have ADHD, to gain information and strategies directly from nationally and internationally renowned experts, that will help children or adults with ADHD.

About the Queenland ADHD Conference

This will be the Sixth Annual Queensland ADHD Conference and is set to be an insightful and incredible event. The Conference has got bigger and better every year, selling out in 2024 with hundreds of people attending. In 2025 the Conference was bigger and better and we expect the same for 2026.

The Conference will be held on Saturday 30th May 2026 at the spectacular UNIDUS Conference CentreThe conference will run from 10am until 4pm.

Doors will open at 8:30am for registration, perusal of the exhibitor area, time to grab a drink and find a seat before the first speaker starts. 

The Conference will be a highly valuable and informative day for parents, educators, professionals, family members and friends of an individual with ADHD or suspected ADHD.

There will be a variety of renowned expert speakers, each providing a wealth of information and strategies that you can use at home, at school or in your workplace. The knowledge you gain could help you, your child, someone you work with, your friend.
We will also have a variety of exhibitors as well and a recording will be done by the AV venue team on the day. The recording will be available for $15 to purchase on the day of the event should anyone wish to watch it again after the event.

This Conference will be suitable for anyone with an interest in ADHD. The fantastic line up of speakers will help with many different strategies, information and topics surrounding ADHD.
All ticket holders will receive a certificate of attendance, valid for PD points which will be available on the day.  

Please Note:
Lunch is NOT included, however there will be food trucks at the venue.
Alternatively you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to avoid long queues or delays.
Due to insurance and topics covered, children under 14yo are not able to attend.

During the break times, as well as between 8:30am and 10am before speakers commence, you are invited to look around at the amazing exhibitors.

Speaker Lineup


Zoe Horner, a creative, passionate paediatric Occupational Therapist was diagnosed with ADHD at age 13 and also struggled with significant anxiety in her earlier years. Zoe was determined not to let these challenges hold her back from achieving her life goals
After much blood, sweat and tears Zoe proudly graduated from Curtin University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy transforming the view of what was possible for her life
Zoe was celebrated as a ‘Semi-finalist in the Channel 7 Young Achievers of WA Awards’ as well as being nominated for Woolworths Community group of the year awards as a result of her efforts in the youth mental health sector. 


Zoe now specialises in Paediatrics and works in private practice helping younger children with ADHD, Autism and similar difficulties. Most recently, Zoe’s private Occupational Therapy Practice Little Treasures Therapywas Awarded a finalist in the Australian Small Business Awards in April 2024 for her vision for the company to solve wider social problems whilst supporting children in her practice through neuroinclusion in the Arts. 


In 2025, Little Treasure deliver the first of its kind TreasureSTAGE Production‘ – a pioneering drama based program for neurodivergent children by neurodivergent childrenwith the goal of celebrating neurodiversity and neuroinclusion in the Arts an opportunity for these children to tell their stories, apply their learning through embodiment and welcome a wider audience to see the world through their lens


Zoe believes her earlier life challenges have only served to make her a more insightful and effective therapist and It is her history that has shaped her passion and drive for helping young children who struggle in the mainstream education system to thrive. 

Hayley Standen is a registered nurse, passionate advocate, and proud neurodivergent woman navigating life with ADHD and Misophonia. Her brain is what she lovingly calls spicy—a mix of scattered brilliance, deep empathy, and a whole lot of heart. She lives in beautiful Tasmania with her husband and their rescue dog, Odie, where she embraces the rollercoaster of life with humour, warmth, and love.


In her role as a school health nurse, Hayley works closely with children and young people every day, supporting their physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing. Her work includes delivering health education, promoting wellbeing, and providing early intervention and support across a wide range of health needs. Within this role, she creates practical, supportive resources and provides education to fellow staff and professionals, helping to build greater awareness and understanding of Misophonia and neurodiversity within schools and the wider community.


Outside of her professional work, Hayley is the proud founder of Living Spicy – a platform and community where she shares insights, resources, and reflections on living with ADHD and Misophonia. Living Spicy is where she celebrates the messy, joyful, and unpredictable moments of neurodivergent life, always with a generous sprinkle of humour, nostalgia, and love. Whether she’s sipping iced matcha, dancing in the kitchen, reading yet another novel or creating tools to help others feel seen and supported, her mission is to educate, empower, and create awareness, empathy and understanding—with love at the core of everything she does.

Kelly Bettridge and Sarah Gurrin are AuADHD practitioners and teachers on a mission to shake up the therapy world, joyfully and unapologetically.

Together, they support neurodivergent individuals of all ages using interest-based, non-traditional approaches like LEGO to ensure that therapy is inclusive and equitable.

Passionate about rejecting deficit-based models, they bring humour, heart, and creativity into their work. Their practice centres connection, co-regulation, and curiosity because therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and wonderfully neurodivergent.

Tina Mathams is an Accountant and money educator specialising in ADHD-informed approaches to personal finance. Her work integrates principles of nervous system regulation, emotional regulation, and identity-based principles to support sustainable financial management in neurodivergent adults.

Drawing on both professional practice and lived experience, Tina wrote ADHD Money, which explores practical and compassionate strategies for managing money with ADHD.

Monica is an ADHD and EF Coach in Brisbane. Initially with a Nursing, then corporate sales background. Her coaching journey started in 2012, when she and her husband Jonathan created “Connect ADHD Coaching”. She presented at the International Conference on ADHD  2018 and 2019, 2020 and 2021, and virtually in 2023 and 2025.

Monica has also presented at the Australian ADHD Conference in 2019 and 2022 and 2023- Monica’ has been published in ADDitude magazine and twice in “ATTENTION “magazine. She works with teens and upper High School students, parents of kids with ADHD as well as working with adults.  Monica also runs a small group program, for Women, “Emerge from the Velvet Curtain and Into the Spotlight” to ensure Women with ADHD can re-engage with their confidence and be heard. She has “real life, hands -on” experience with ADHD in her family.


Like many people in our community, she has her own amazing kids with ADHD. 
Monica’s goal is to collate, curate and create knowledge to work closely with her clients. Collate and curate the most current and relevant practical understandings, incorporating information and practices from a variety of sources: current Neuroscience, Traditional Wisdoms, Mindfulness and Coaching Principles.  Also to create infographics and complex models into easily understandable visual teaching tools for clients of all ages and diversities.

Trudy Parkin spent 25 years working as an educator before transitioning into her current role as a certified ADHD Life Coach. With lived experience of ADHD, she brings both professional insight and personal understanding to her work, allowing her to connect deeply with those she supports.


Trudy is deeply passionate about helping people understand how their brains work, particularly in the context of ADHD. She focuses on softening self-judgement and supporting individuals to move away from shame and towards greater self-compassion. Through a practical, strengths-based approach, her work empowers people to build understanding, confidence, and strategies that lead to meaningful, sustainable change in everyday life.

No, all speaker presentations are included within the price of your Conference entry.

Yes, to enter the Conference you will need to present your ticket. This can be either printed out or displayed on a mobile device.

Some tickets may be available to purchase at the door.
However, it should be noted that this Conference is expected to sell out prior to the date, so we recommend purchasing tickets early to avoid disappointment.

We are unable to refund tickets once they have been purchased. However, tickets are transferable and you are welcome to re-sell or gift your ticket to someone else.

We have kept ticket prices as low as possible and are unable to offer discounts, however, if you would like to have free entry, please email us to enquire about being a volunteer. Volunteers gain free entry, certificate of attendance and a workbook in exchange for their assistance on the day.

Companion card holders may be eligible for a discounted ticket, please email our admin team at admin@myspiritedchild.com and they will be able to assist you.

Food and drinks are NOT included so you may wish to bring food and drinks with you. There are food trucks on-site.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare. 

Children under the age of 14 years are not permitted at the Conference as this is an adult only event. This is due in part to insurance requirements, also the content is aimed at adults and therefore can be inappropriate for children. We also are aware that sitting through such a big event may raise anxiety for a child and will be too much of an expectation on them.

Yes, certificates of attendance will be available for everyone who purchases a ticket.

This Conference was first held in Victoria in 2019, then again in Victoria as well as in Queensland in 2021, and we added Western Australia, South Australia, Northern Territory and New South Wales ADHD Conference in 2022, and North Queensland and Tasmania in 2023. In 2024 finally being held internationally in New Zealand in both Auckland and Christchurch. This is the Sixth time we are bringing the conference to Queensland, Exciting!!
