Izabel de Varga (she/her) is an Occupational Therapist and Regional Lead at National Peke Centre, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons). Since graduating in 2018, Izabel has worked extensively with neurodivergent children and their families. Along the way, her deep dive into understanding Autism and ADHD led to a personal diagnosis of ADHD in early 2021 — a discovery that profoundly shaped both her personal journey and her professional passion.

Izabel is driven by the belief that understanding our brains — particularly the parts that make us different — is key to self-compassion, resilience and wellbeing. Having grown up without the language or support to understand her ADHD brain, she brings both lived experience and clinical insight to her work with children and families navigating similar paths.

At this conference, Izabel will be speaking about ADHD Paralysis, combining personal reflection with practical occupational therapy strategies — all designed to help you get out of bed (or off the couch) when it feels impossible.
