Often, even small rejections hit hard, a common experience for ADHD’ers. Rejection sensitivity can make everyday moments feel overwhelming, triggering self-doubt, anxiety, and the urge to shut down or people please. From personal experiences and those who have graciously shared their own journey in therapy, I share what this has taught me about vulnerability, connection, and healing. How can self compassion become the steady, supportive voice and friend we all need, one that helps us move through pain with more kindness and understanding.
