‘Executive Function and ADHD’

Christina Keeble is the founder of Christina Keeble Consulting and Co-Founder of National PEKE Centre. Her aim is to educate, collaborate, support and uplift families/carers, individuals and professionals who are neurodivergent themselves, who support a neurodivergent individual or who may just be looking to understand more about neurodiversity. She does this through her seminars & public speaking engagements, her writing and publications and through 1:1 support.

Christina has been in the field of special education since 2002 working with children from early childhood through to young adults transitioning out of school.

Christina has a Masters in Special Education, a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education and a BA with Honours in Psychology. She has spoken at conferences around Australia and is a published researcher and writer.

Through her variety and depth of experience, Christina has come to realise, the best way to support families and their children is to support and up skill the parents/carers. Christina’s lived experience as an Autistic & ADHD adult, teacher and mum to two neurodivergent children allows her to offer a unique personal and professional perspective.

In this presentation Christina will be talking about executive function and how poor executive function skills affect many people with ADHD. Christina will discuss what executive function is and give strategies to support a child, teen or adult who struggles with executive function.
