I found this conference really interesting! As a social work graduate, I have noticed that a number of young people I support have a diagnosis of ADHD, however this conference highlighted that I didn’t have a full understanding of ADHD. I really enjoyed the panel and discussions around ADHD and trauma. I also went home and re organised my fridge following Carrie’s presentation!!!! Overall, really enjoyed the conference and would definitely look at going again next year 🙂

Price of conference was reasonably priced. Great venue. Easy to park, discounted parking was appreciated on a Saturday. Diverse speakers – so participants would definitely connect to the topics. It would have been great to hear from someone in ADHD WA I am new on this journey as a parent and would love to know what they offer. It was great hearing from a GP and would have liked more information on medication vs non-medication response. As GPs in WA will be potentially diagnosing students I would be curious to hear more. Enjoyed hearing from a parent vs teachers perspective with Symone.

As a subscribing member I hear of events. This has been so valuable, even though I have attended a few similar I always learn something new and reawaken and affirm knowledge and understandings I had known but had not connected with recently. I would appreciate the opportunity for questions and discussion with the presenters. I found the whole day immensely interesting. Thank you for a fully worthwhile day.

I came to this as an OT working in adult mental health (public system) and I came along to learn more about ADHD and update my knowledge base. I also have friends who have kids who are recently diagnosed ADHD. The variety in this conference was great and I definitely learnt a lot . All speakers brought additional knowledge and experience with neurodiverse students. The transition to high school presentation was very practical, as I believe that many students are underprepared when entering high school and trying to process and retain an overwhelming amount of information and processes. Speaking to presenters during break time was very beneficial.

The booklet was fantastic, more space for notes would have been great. Speakers were exceptional. I really appreciated hearing, in particular, from the first perspective of the speakers who were ND themselves. I got so much out of this conference to apply in both my role as a parent of ND teens as well as my job as an ECT. I will definitely be returning in 2025.
